b. 1961; studied English Literature, History and Political Science at Aachen University (RWTH); 1992-2002 publisher at Verlag Wissenschaft und Politik (Cologne) and Leske + Budrich (Leverkusen), editor of the political monthly «Deutschland Archiv»; 2003 Ph.D. at Chemnitz University, thesis on British-East German relations; 2003-2011 editor of the weekly journal “Aus Politik und Zeitgeschichte” at the Federal Agency for Civic Education (BpB), Bonn; since 2011 Head of Department Print at BpB.
